To celebrate the rebirth of the iconic Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a magical atmosphere inspired by the 30s - the era that witnessed the birth of the Gallia - set the stage for the grand opening event.
Guests wearing black tie and long sparkling dresses walked the gold, glittering carpet surrounded by butlers and vintage Maserati cars to an event filled with electro swing music, surprise acts and suite previews.

Uniquely for a glittering night
Excelsior Hotel Gallia created a mobile app, exclusively for the grand opening party, held on May 13th, 2015 in Milan.
Through this app guests were able to discover different rooms where live performances were being held, along with seeing live photo updates from the event, real time.
A surprise on the night
Dina & Dana Burlesque
In the exclusive La Cupola private cinema room, Dina & Dana performed a burlesque dance, giving guests a Lido-style experience. Guests could then explore the brand new Katara Suite.
Singer Mario Biondi
Adding an extra hit to the night, famous Italian singer Mario Biondi performed in the glittering Duomo ballroom. Guests partied until the early hours and sang and danced to familiar tunes.
Actor Raz Degan
In one of the many stunning suites - re-named 'The Unexpected Room' for the night - actor Raz Degan took photographs of guests in unexpected poses.

The Romance suite
Champagne, strawberries and music. Rose petals on the bed and a chance for a short time alone.
